Pressure screen
Pressure screens are used in the pulp preparation process to clean the water/fiber suspension. The suspension runs into a screen cylinder and out through the screen holes. A rotor inside the screen cylinder keeps the screen clear. The rotor bearing arrangement is vertical.
As a result, a high axial load acts on the lower locating bearing position; this load is taken up by a four-point bearing. Radial shaft guidance is provided by two cylindrical roller bearings. Grease lubrication is required for this application.
