Internships and Casual Student Workers
Put the theory you learn at university into practice at our company.
You work on demanding, real projects – not for the trash can.
“On the job training” enables you to apply theoretical knowledge to specific tasks.
1st internship semester/pre-study and basic internships
Duration and departments in accordance with the internship guidelines
2nd internship semester/advanced internships
Independent work on tasks in a department, project tasks if applicable; voluntary internships also possible
Departments
For example: Testing, Application Engineering, Production, Sales, Purchasing, Design, Quality Assurance, Controlling, Finance, Systems Engineering, System Development, Marketing, HR, Logistics, Materials and Production Management
We offer you
As a fair company, we support you during your internship with appropriate remuneration. We can assist students from universities that are not nearby in finding accommodation.
Our STS program provides committed interns the opportunity to stay in contact with the Schaeffler Group and participate in varied, interesting events and complete an internship abroad.
Internship abroad
5 to 6 months; practical experience in the Schaeffler Group and/or very good results at university, good knowledge of the relevant national language and/or fluent written and spoken English.
Casual student workers
We provide students the opportunity to gain experience in an industrial company by working in one of the departments mentioned above on a regular basis during their studies.

You can search for vacant internship positions in our Career Opportunities section. You should submit your application for an internship position approx. three to five months in advance, indicating the earliest possible start date, area of interest and internship duration.
